Bruce Willis doesn’t know that the actor’s wife is sick

American actor Bruce Willis is unaware that he has frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

This was stated by his wife Emma Heming Willis in an interview with the podcast Conversations with Cam .

She admitted that Willis is unaware that he has a serious neurodegenerative disease. According to her, the actor cannot attribute the changes in his behavior to the disease and perceives his condition as normal.

“It’s both a blessing and a curse. Bruce never realized he was sick. And, to be honest, I’m even glad he doesn’t know,” Heming said.

The actor’s wife also emphasized that Willis recognizes family members and remains emotionally present in communication with loved ones. The couple is raising two daughters, ages 11 and 13.

Recall that in 2022, Bruce Willis ended his acting career due to diagnosed dementia .
