Budanov announced a new prisoner exchange

A new major prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia could take place next week. However, a specific date and the number of people planned to be returned have not yet been announced.

This was stated by the head of the Presidential Office, Kirill Budanov, in a commentary to Novosti.LIVE.

“It should be very quick, very soon. I think within a week,” Budanov said.

When asked whether he was talking specifically about next week, he replied: “We hope so.”

Budanov did not disclose any other details regarding the upcoming exchange.
