Budanov announced a new prisoner exchange

Ukraine and Russia will soon hold another prisoner exchange.

This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the comment of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.

Budanov confirmed that the parties are already preparing the exchange, but the process requires the coordination of a number of procedures.

“I confirm that there will be an exchange in the near future. We don’t always have time with the physical and legal procedures – both they and we. For example, last time we had time, but they didn’t,” he explained.

According to the head of intelligence, it is technical and legal nuances that often affect the timing of such exchanges.

It was previously reported thatUkraine and Russia conducted another prisoner exchange, in which 175 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that prisoner exchanges between Ukraine and the Russian Federation will continue after Easter.
