Bulgaria approved the 13th aid package for Ukraine

Bulgaria in February approved the 13th package of military aid to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The country’s government approved the new package on February 12, 2026. Since the beginning of the great war, Sofia has already transferred 13 packages of military support to Kyiv.

The government is not disclosing details about the type of weapons, the volume and the cost of the assistance. The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense explained that this information is part of broader reports on the structure, weapons and capabilities of the country’s Armed Forces in peacetime and wartime.

Bulgaria provides military support to Ukraine in accordance with an agreement between the defense ministries of the two countries, signed on December 5, 2022. The Bulgarian Parliament ratified the document on December 16, 2022 and then decided not to publish the list of transferred weapons.

It was previously reported that New Zealand is providing Ukraine with a new aid package of 8 million New Zealand dollars and is imposing additional sanctions against the Russian military machine.

Recall that the British government announced a new package of military and humanitarian support for Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion , and also confirmed the launch of the multinational force headquarters.
