Buses are running instead of trains: UZ warned of traffic changes in several areas

Ukrzaliznytsia has stopped train traffic between Mykolaiv and Kherson, and passenger transportation there is carried out by buses.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

“Our monitoring groups are working in an intensified mode, so train traffic will be organized taking into account the security situation. Passenger transportation between Mykolaiv and Kherson is carried out by buses,” the message says.

UZ urged passengers to take shelter while waiting for transport if the air alert in Mykolaiv continues.

“Carefully monitor notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia application and announcements by railway workers at stations and on trains,” the company advised.

In addition, there are restrictions in other regions, in particular the North and the East.

In Sumy region, trains temporarily run to and from Konotop, and in Chernihiv region, adapted suburban service schedules are in effect in the Nizhyn direction.

Buses run from Kharkiv region to Kramatorsk, and regional express trains to Izyum run on schedule.

At the same time, transport connections between Zaporizhia and the Dnipro are organized mainly with the involvement of bus carriers, Ukrzaliznytsia added.

Recall that the Russian occupation forces have probably chosen new targets for air strikes on Ukraine , in particular, the railway and water supply infrastructure.

By the way, the occupiers are targeting civilian railway infrastructure , concentrating their attacks on the northern regions – Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
