Captains of the Russian shadow fleet are under sanctions: Zelensky signed a decree on the application of restrictions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had imposed sanctions against the captains of the Russian shadow fleet.
He said this in his address.
“3 sanctions packages have been prepared, and the first package has already been applied today – sanctions against the captains of the Russian shadow fleet,” the president assured.
According to him, Ukraine will synchronize all three packages with partners so that pressure on Russia works in most jurisdictions.
“I agreed to synchronize the sanctions of partners in our jurisdiction next week. The necessary decisions of partners must be confirmed by Ukrainian sanctions,” he added.
At the same time , a decree on the implementation of the NSDC decision to impose sanctions appeared on the website of the official Internet representation of the president .
The document refers to the introduction of sanctions against 94 individuals. Among them, in particular, are citizens of the Russian Federation, Iran, Pakistan, Myanmar, the People’s Republic of China, Bangladesh, India, and Georgia.
In addition, five companies registered in Russia were subject to restrictions.
As a reminder, on Sunday, July 27, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions on individuals and legal entities associated with the Russian Federation.
