As part of the mobilization reform, territorial recruitment centers may disappear, and another structure will be created in their place.

This was stated by Roman Kostenko, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence, in an interview with LIGAnet.

It is proposed to separate some functions in the territorial centers. In particular, the social function and the recruitment function are discussed.

“The changes are trying to separate some functions in the CCC — the social function and the conscription function, place them in different buildings and call them either the conscription office or the recruitment office,” the official explained.

Separately, he added that the reforms of the Ministry of Defense will not be radical.

Earlier, the Rada announced that Ukraine is preparing a large-scale mobilization reform , which involves changing approaches to persons wanted by territorial recruitment centers.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is working on a package of changes that will concern mobilization, desertion from a unit (SZCH), as well as service conditions for stormtroopers and infantrymen.
