Channel 5 suffered from night shelling: equipment and workplaces were destroyed

After the massive nighttime attack on Kyiv, Channel 5 has already resumed its broadcast.

The TV channel itself reported this.

Although the office suffered significant damage and the studio was destroyed during the attack, all employees who were in the building during the night shift were unharmed.

Due to damage to equipment and workplaces, Channel 5 temporarily operated only on the YouTube platform.

The channel’s CEO Volodymyr Mzhelsky said: “We are actively working on restoration, and we are already back on the air. I hope that today at 1:00 PM, viewers will see our hosts alive, healthy, and smiling.”

Recall, on the night of Thursday, July 10, Russia launched a combined strike on Kyiv. During the airstrike, the use of kamikaze drones and missiles of various types was recorded in the city. As a result of the enemy strikes, two people were killed and 14 others were injured.

As reported, Zelensky called the attack another manifestation of Russian terror and stressed the importance of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
