Adult ChatGPT users who verify their age will be able to access a new version of the AI chatbot, where the level of censorship will be significantly reduced. It provides the ability to interact with erotic content and even exchange intimate messages.
This was announced by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in his post on the X platform.
” In December, we will implement the principle of ‘adults should be treated as adults.’ This will mean, in particular, allowing erotic material for users who have passed age verification ,” Altman wrote.
He explained that previous versions of ChatGPT had strict restrictions in place to reduce the risks to users’ mental health. However, he believes that these policies also reduced the service’s practicality and appeal to an audience that did not need additional protection.
Therefore, as the head of OpenAI stated, the company plans to gradually update the rules to make the system more flexible, but at the same time safe for all categories of users.
It was also previously reported that more and more Americans are using ChatGPT instead of lawyers to participate in legal proceedings — and some of them are already winning. Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a “legal advisor” for citizens who cannot afford a lawyer or who seek to defend themselves in court.
