Chernyshov released from pretrial detention center: bail posted for former minister

On Wednesday, November 19, bail was posted for former minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is suspected of participating in a corruption scheme.

This was reported by “Schemes” (Radio Liberty).

According to sources in law enforcement agencies, two individuals paid a deposit of 51 million 600 thousand hryvnias.

It is noted that Chernyshov will be able to leave the pre-trial detention center on the evening of November 19.

The day before, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court remanded former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is suspected of participating in a corruption scheme at Energoatom, into custody .

Previously, NABU and SAPO handed the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine a request for the imposition of a preventive measure.

It is worth noting that NABU and SAPO documented how participants in the corruption scheme in the energy sector transferred money to the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine .
