The court in Kropyvnytskyi changed the status of “victim” to “witness” in the case of former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky.

Chervinsky wrote about this on social media.

In particular, the court recorded a change in the status of a person who did not consider herself a victim and applied to the court with a request to involve her in the further process as a witness.

“The judges finally heard the position of the witness in the case, whom prosecutor Kobets and investigator Kurko included in the indictment as the 17th victim of my actions,” the report says.

According to Chervinsky, such a decision is exceptional and there are no similar cases in the available court practice.

“This is how the blind desire of corrupt prosecutors and investigators to please their temporary puppet leaders Zelensky-Yermak-Tatarov and imprison those who speak frankly to the authorities and society ends in a fiasco!” he noted.

We remind you that Chervinsky has been under arrest since April 25, 2023. The Security Service of Ukraine has charged its former employee with committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code. That is, “exceeding the authority or official powers of a military official under martial law.” This crime is punishable by 8 to 12 years in prison.

It is worth adding that Chervinsky and his defense deny the charges and call the case politically motivated.

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing sources, reported that Special Operations Forces Colonel Roman Chervinsky coordinated the detonation of the Nord Stream pipeline in the Baltic Sea in the fall of 2022 .
