China asked Ukraine to refrain from strikes on Vladivostok: reasons

China has asked Ukraine to refrain from possible attacks on Vladivostok during the Eastern Economic Forum. According to sources, the Ukrainian side has agreed not to carry out attacks in the area during the stay of the Chinese delegation.

This is reported by the Japanese agency Kyodo News .

According to journalists, Beijing’s diplomatic appeal was connected with a visit to Vladivostok by a high-ranking Chinese delegation led by the Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC.

Chinese representatives explained the request by the need to “ensure security in the region,” which directly borders China and is of strategic economic importance to both states.

According to Kyodo News sources, the Ukrainian side took the appeal into consideration and agreed to refrain from attacks in the Vladivostok area during the stay of the Chinese delegation.

By the way, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said that China is ready to work more actively on the peaceful resolution of conflicts in Ukraine , the Middle East, and Afghanistan.
