China hosts massive military parade

One of the largest military parades in recent years was held in Beijing, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan in World War II.

The BBC reports this.

The ceremony began with 80 cannon shots and the release of 80,000 birds into the sky. The parade also featured the largest military orchestra in Chinese history – more than a thousand musicians, including a symbolic 80 trumpeters.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping called on the world “not to return to the laws of the jungle” and to value peace.

During the parade, China demonstrated new weapons: the DF-5C intercontinental missile, J-20S fighters, AJX 002 and HSU 100 underwater drones, laser weapons, as well as elements of its own nuclear triad.

At the finale, seven J-10 fighters flew over Tiananmen Square, leaving 14 colored trails symbolizing the years of resistance to Japanese aggression.

The event was attended by 26 foreign leaders, including the presidents of Russia, Iran, Belarus, North Korea and Indonesia. No Western countries were present, except for Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico.

Earlier, Xi Jinping announced a strategic partnership with Russia against a unipolar world.

Let us recall that China is against ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, because the conflict exhausts Russia and the United States, while at the same time creating strategic advantages for Beijing.

China has reportedly accelerated the pace of its nuclear arsenal expansion, aggressively building up capabilities on land, in the air, and at sea. Despite Beijing’s official no-first-use policy, experts and U.S. military officials have warned that such modernization could signal an intent to use nuclear weapons in a crisis, including if threatened in the Taiwan Strait.

By the way, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reported that thanks to cooperation with Chinese companies, Russia receives critical resources for the military industry . We are talking about special chemicals for the production of explosives, electronic components and machine tools that are directly used in the production of weapons and military equipment.
