China is handing over to Russia the latest drones with artificial intelligence that can independently search for targets indoors. The drones can penetrate windows, wait for people to appear, and strike without the participation of an operator.
This is reported by “24 Channel” .
According to US Marine Corps veteran Matthew Samson, the modern battlefield is changing rapidly as computers take over more and more functions in managing combat operations.
“More and more of the human aspect is being removed, allowing computers to control most of the combat operations,” said Matthew Samson.
He noted that to counter such a threat, it is necessary to strengthen technological cooperation between Ukraine and Western allies and develop appropriate countermeasures.
In addition to drones, China is helping Russia with other high-tech solutions. In particular, Beijing is close to completing the development of satellite communication systems for the Russian military, which are analogues of Starlink technology.
According to the publication, such systems should allow the Russian military to more accurately coordinate strikes on Ukrainian territory.
By the way, Russia is expanding its fleet of attack drones and creating more and more different models . Some of them Moscow could potentially use for attacks on European countries, in particular by launching drones from ships in the Mediterranean Sea.
