Chinese leader Xi Jinping said that China is ready to work more actively on the peaceful resolution of conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, and Afghanistan.
He stated this during a meeting of the Council of Heads of State, reports the Chinese television channel CCTV.
According to the Chinese leader, Beijing is ready to communicate more actively and coordinate actions with all parties to international and regional conflicts.
“Regarding international and regional hot spots such as Ukraine, the Middle East and Afghanistan, China is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with all parties, adhering to an approach aimed at addressing both the symptoms and causes of the problem, and promoting political settlement,” Xi Jinping said.
He added that to resolve conflicts, it is necessary not only to overcome their consequences, but also to eliminate the causes that led to them.
