Christmas tree at the site of the mass murder: the occupiers opened a theater in Mariupol

In occupied Mariupol, the Russians have opened ticket sales for the drama theater they destroyed in the spring of 2022, killing hundreds of civilians. Inside the building, the occupiers have set up a Christmas tree and are preparing to stage performances.

This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.

According to the city council, the Russian occupation administration is selling tickets for children’s and adult performances. The first performances are planned to be shown starting December 25.

In particular, at the site of the mass murder of civilians, the occupiers announced the screening of a “magical comedy” called “A Luxurious Wedding.”

In addition, the Russians have installed a festive Christmas tree inside the destroyed drama theater. They also plan to hold children’s New Year’s events in the building.

It was previously reported that the armed forces of the Russian Federation are responsible for the indiscriminate air attacks on the drama theater and maternity ward in Mariupol, as well as the rocket attack on the train station in Kramatorsk.

As a reminder, a group of bloggers from China visited temporarily occupied Mariupol and sang the song “Katyusha” in the ruins of the Mariupol Drama Theater.
