Cold snap and rain: an atmospheric front is approaching Ukraine

On Thursday, August 21, a cold front will arrive in Ukraine. It will cause precipitation in a number of regions and a cooling.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

The weather forecaster notes that the atmospheric front will bring rain and thunderstorms to the western and northern parts of Ukraine. The remaining regions will be without precipitation.

“This front will cross the territory of Ukraine in an eastern direction during August 22-23 and will bring precipitation,” Didenko notes.

The southern part of Ukraine will also be hit by rain, with the heaviest precipitation falling on the Odessa region. However, other cities in the south will be free of precipitation on August 22-23.

The air temperature on August 21 is expected to be high in the south, east, and central regions, with the air warming up to 32 degrees during the day.

In the north, temperatures are forecast to reach 28 degrees during the day.

In the west, an atmospheric front will cause fresher weather, from 20 degrees, and in Transcarpathia up to 26 degrees.

In the capital of Ukraine, rain is likely in the evening, the maximum air temperature will be up to 26 degrees.
