Combat brigades received another 4.5 billion UAH for drones and electronic warfare equipment

In February, combat brigades received additional funding for the purchase of drones and electronic warfare equipment – the total amount exceeds 4.5 billion hryvnias.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The funds have already been credited to the brigades’ accounts in their personal accounts in the DOT-Chain Defence system. Units can immediately place orders for the necessary items without additional approvals.

DOT-Chain Defence operates on the principle of a marketplace. The military independently selects drones, weapons and electronic warfare equipment according to their needs on the front. Currently, the platform offers more than 470 models of equipment from 135 manufacturers.

The Ministry of Defense noted that in six months, about 350 thousand units of equipment with a total value of over 16 billion hryvnias have already been delivered through the system.

As previously reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a modern Spanish-made Lanza LTR-25 tactical early detection radar, which significantly enhances air defense capabilities.

Recall that Belgium plans to transfer F-16 combat aircraft to Ukraine only after it receives and puts its own F-35 fighters into operation.
