Combat improvement: “Shaheeds” learned to counter Ukrainian interceptor drones
Russian Shahed drones began performing complex maneuvers in flight to avoid being hit by Ukrainian interceptor drones.
This was reported by a specialist in communication systems, electronic warfare and intelligence, Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov.
“These drones have learned to perform a number of maneuvers aimed at reducing the effectiveness of our anti-aircraft drones. I predicted earlier that the enemy would prepare for countermeasures, and now these are only the first signs of their implementation,” the expert noted in his Facebook post.
At the same time, Beskrestnov emphasized that the Ukrainian side is not resting on its laurels and continues to work on improving its own interceptor drones.
“We will respond to their technologies with new developments. After all, the enemy is unlikely to voluntarily give up its most numerous weapons,” the specialist added.
Recall that the Russian troops may soon begin using updated “Shaheds”, which are capable of real-time control . Instead of a pre-set flight path, there is manual control and coordination between several aircraft in the air.
As reported, in Chevron, Ukraine first recorded the use of a Russian kamikaze attack drone of the “Shahed” type with a built-in camera, an artificial intelligence module with machine vision, and a direct radio control system from Russian territory.
