Combined strike on Kyiv: death toll rises to 12

As a result of the Russian combined attack on Kyiv, the death toll has risen to 12. 135 people were injured.

This was reported by the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, and the State Emergency Service.

Tkachenko reported that rescuers are continuing to work at the site of the collapse in the Svyatoshyn district to free the victims. Unfortunately, another body has been pulled from under the rubble.

“The number of people killed in Kyiv as a result of the massive and combined attack that occurred on July 31 has increased to 12 people. Among the victims is one child. Rescuers continue to work at the scene of the attacks. Emergency and search operations are ongoing,” the State Emergency Service reported.

It is also known that 135 people were injured as a result of the attack by the occupiers. 11 of them were children.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, July 31, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Kyiv, using missiles and drones. The strike resulted in significant destruction in several areas of the capital, with fatalities and dozens of injuries.

It later became known that in Kyiv, the rubble after the night shelling continues to be cleared. Rescuers found the body of a deceased person in the destroyed entrance of a high-rise building in the Svyatoshynskyi district.
