Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the commander of the 110th OMB, Serhiy Zakharevich, was killed in a Russian missile strike on Hulyaipol.

He announced this during an evening address.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the commander of the 110th OMB, Serhiy Zakharevich, was killed in a rocket attack by the occupiers on Hulyaipol. He also added that 30 people were injured.

“Unfortunately, there are losses – both military and civilian. The commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Zakharevich, and other guys from the brigade were killed. My condolences to all relatives and friends,” the president said.

He added that a full investigation into the circumstances of this attack is currently underway.

The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade also confirmed the death of its commander.

“He was a courageous warrior, a true officer and commander, who was trusted with his life. Always next to his fighters – not at headquarters, but on the front line. Calm, decisive, principled. A man who held the front not only with orders, but with personal example. He was respected, looked up to. His death is a painful loss for everyone who served with him side by side,” the brigade’s statement said.

Earlier it became known that the commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after General-Coroner Mark Bezruchko, Colonel Serhiy Zakharevich, died at the front . It is known that he is survived by his wife and 3 children.
