Compensation for businesses in frontline areas: the government simplified the mechanism for obtaining it

For entrepreneurs working in frontline areas, the mechanism for receiving compensation for damaged or destroyed property has been simplified, and the conditions for participation in the insurance program have also been updated.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.
According to her, from now on, businesses only need to submit one application for all damaged or destroyed property. In addition, there is no longer a need to wait for information to be entered into the State Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property to submit documents for compensation for production equipment and engineering networks.
The government has also extended the deadline for submitting applications for compensation for insurance premiums. Entrepreneurs who have already insured their property this year but did not join the program will be able to contact their insurer until August 1.
In addition, the requirements for insured property have been simplified and the procedure for calculating compensation has been clarified. The maximum amount of payment is up to UAH 3 million per year.
According to Svyrydenko, since the beginning of the year, the government has already approved 139 applications from enterprises from frontline areas with a total potential compensation of UAH 2.67 billion. Another 63 companies have submitted applications for compensation for insurance premiums.
The Prime Minister emphasized that entrepreneurs in frontline areas need special support, as they provide jobs and support the economy of regions located near the combat zone.
