On the night of April 16, Russian occupiers fired missiles and drones at Ukraine, and energy system facilities were also hit.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

Power outages were recorded in nine regions due to attacks on energy infrastructure. In particular, consumers in Donetsk, Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions were temporarily left without electricity.

As the department emphasized, energy workers are working in an intensive mode to restore electricity supply to subscribers. Restoration work continues around the clock.

At the same time, the Ministry of Energy warned that they do not plan to apply restrictions. However, the situation may change. Consumers are advised to follow the latest information on the official resources of the regional energy companies.

In addition, the department’s press service urged subscribers to use electricity sparingly in the evening hours — from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

“This helps reduce the load on the system,” the Ministry of Energy explained.

As a reminder, the occupation forces attacked Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones for the second day in a row . On the night of Thursday, April 16, Kyiv, Dnipro, Odessa, and Kharkiv came under attack.
