As of the morning of April 2, power outages were recorded in seven regions due to hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Some consumers in Donetsk, Odesa, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions are temporarily left without electricity.
The department assured that specialists are working in an intensive mode to restore power supply to consumers as soon as possible. Restoration work is ongoing around the clock.
In addition, capacity restriction schedules were applied in all regions of Ukraine until 10:00.
“We ask consumers, if possible, to use electricity sparingly throughout the day. This helps reduce the load on the system,” the Ministry of Energy urged.
We remind you that the day before, significant power outages were recorded in the Sumy region due to a massive drone attack.
