On Monday, April 13, some consumers in two regions of Ukraine were temporarily left without electricity.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

Residents of Chernihiv and Zaporizhia regions have lost power due to Russian shelling of energy infrastructure facilities and hostilities.

The department assured that energy workers are working hard to restore power supply as soon as possible. Restoration work is ongoing around the clock.

Consumption restriction measures will be in effect today. This applies in particular to industrial consumers. From 06:00 to 08:00 and from 16:00 to 24:00, capacity restriction schedules will apply in all regions.

The Ministry of Energy noted that consumers can find out about any changes in energy supply on the official resources of regional energy companies.

“We ask consumers, if possible, to use electricity sparingly throughout the day. This helps reduce the load on the system,” the ministry added.

It is known that the Russian military attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv region with a drone on the night of April 13. A number of settlements were left without electricity.

Recall that the other day, Russian military forces shelled the Odessa region, attacking the region’s energy infrastructure . DTEK noted that restoring the damaged facility will take time.
