A spokesman for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has denied reports that the prime minister may resign amid the scandal surrounding former ambassador to the United States Peter Mandelson. The government has said that the prime minister intends to continue in his duties.

“The Prime Minister continues to work to implement change across the country,” said Keir Starmer’s spokesman.
During a conversation with journalists, a government representative also denied information about the possible resignation of the prime minister.
“No,” said Keir Starmer’s spokesman, answering journalists’ questions about the possible dismissal of the head of government.
