Officials from some European countries hope to deploy up to 30,000 peacekeepers in Ukraine as part of a post-ceasefire deployment of foreign troops.

This is stated in the material of “Radio Liberty”.

There is still no unanimity among European officials regarding the necessary number of foreign troops in Ukraine.

The number of military personnel in various statements ranges from 15,000 to 20,000, with some even proposing to deploy up to 30,000 peacekeepers.

No military plans have been made public at this time. However, it is known that some troops will arrive from France and the United Kingdom.

In particular, French and British soldiers will be responsible for security in the air and on land, and Turkey will assume obligations related to the security of transport routes in the Black Sea.

However, it is not yet known how close the foreign military personnel will be to the front line.

As a reminder, the UK Defense Minister John Healy stated that his country is ready to send its military personnel to Ukraine , but only after peace is achieved. The country has already identified military units that it can send to Ukraine , and is ready to quickly transfer them after a possible peace agreement is reached.

It is known that France, Germany, and Turkey have declared their readiness to send a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine after the end of the war.

By the way, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the United States is ready to deploy its military in Ukraine after peace is achieved.
