Ukrainian operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck a Russian Osa anti-aircraft missile system in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the SBS press service.

The fighters hit the enemy’s mobile air defense system, which he used to cover units and important objects from strikes by Ukrainian drones, cruise missiles, and artillery.

“The Osa air defense system is a mobile short-range air defense system equipped with six missiles and capable of hitting air targets at a distance of up to 10 km and at an altitude of up to 5 km,” the SBS explained.

As noted, this complex is one of the most massive air defense systems used by the Russian army.

“The SBS consistently reduce the enemy’s air defense capabilities and open up the airspace for further actions by the Defense Forces,” the military emphasized.

As a reminder, the Defense Forces attacked an enemy air defense facility in Crimea . This is a Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system.

Earlier, Ukrainian troops struck the Osa anti-aircraft missile system in the Zaporizhia region and a number of logistical facilities of the Russian occupiers.
