“Created in 9 months”: unique footage of the use of the Ukrainian “Flamingo” missile

Journalists showed unique footage of the use of the Ukrainian FP-5 “Flamingo” missile, which can fly up to 3 thousand kilometers.

“We didn’t want to make this public, but it seems like now is the time. Flamingo is a long-range cruise missile that can carry a 1,150-kilogram warhead and fly 3,000 kilometers over Russia,” the company’s CEO Iryna Terek told POLITICO.

Iryna Terek also noted that the company came up with the rocket quite quickly. It took less than nine months to do so.

“I won’t tell you its exact speed, but I can say it’s faster than all the other missiles we have right now,” said Fire Point’s CEO.

In addition, the Flamingo missile is completely Ukrainian.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that successful tests of the Ukrainian Flamingo missile have already taken place, and its mass production should begin early next year.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine received at its disposal a new generation cruise missile called “Flamingo” . Its range is 3000 km, and the warhead weighs one ton – it is twice as powerful as the American Tomahawk. The missile is an analogue of the FP-5 from the Milanion Group, which is already ready to produce dozens of such weapons every month.
