Crimea reports attack on energy facility and large-scale power outages

In temporarily occupied Crimea, some settlements were left without electricity after explosions. In Nizhnygorsk, an electrical substation was reported to have been hit.

This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”.

According to him, this is the 110/35/10 kV substation “Nyzhnohirska”, which provides electricity to consumers in the Nyzhnohirsky district.

Power outages are also being recorded in the Krasnogvardiysky and Pervomaisky districts. In Armyansk, there are reports of a lack of electricity and water, and Chornomorske is also left without power.

As of the morning of October 1, the Ukrainian side and the occupation authorities had not officially confirmed the information about the hit.

As a reminder, earlier the Unmanned Systems Forces reported the destruction of 38 energy facilities in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories as part of the “Crimean Switch Off” operation. Over the course of 2.5 months, the military has worked on a total of 412 energy facilities.

Previously, the SBS announced the destruction of another 34 energy facilities in the occupied territories, including in Crimea.
