The Croatian government has decided to provide Ukraine with another, 15th, aid package. It provides for the transfer of equipment and technical support measures for the Ukrainian power system in the amount of 625 thousand euros, including VAT.

This was reported by the press service of the Croatian government.

According to the published information, responsibility for implementing the decision has been assigned to the Civil Protection Directorate of the Croatian Ministry of the Interior.

As part of the aid package, Ukraine will receive 100 Vulkan 10 mobile metal-cutting machines along with necessary consumables.

It also provides for technical support for the Ukrainian power system. This includes transformers, pumps, and other equipment that is currently not used in Croatia.

Croatian Economy Minister Ante Šušnjar explained the reasons for this decision.

“The government made this decision in response to the appeal of the Embassy of Ukraine, given the significant damage and destruction of energy facilities as a result of Russian attacks,” said Ante Šusnjaňar.

The aid package will be financed by the Croatian Ministry of the Interior. The expenses are foreseen in the Croatian State Budget for 2026.

By the way, the Croatian government has decided to join the NATO PURL mechanism, allocating about 15 million euros for the purchase and transfer of military equipment for the needs of Ukraine .
