Curfew rules have been updated in Kyiv: what you need to know

Updated curfew rules have been introduced in Kyiv. The decision includes exceptions that allow travel to Inviolability Points and home at night.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The decision was made by the Kyiv Defense Council in compliance with the government’s order. The curfew in the capital is not being canceled, but exceptions are being introduced for the civilian population.

From now on, during the curfew period, it is allowed to travel on foot or by private transport, including taxis, to the “Points of Invincibility” or to the place of residence. This applies, in particular, to situations where trains arrive late at night.

Nezlamnosti points in Kyiv can operate 24/7. These include both municipal points and responsible business establishments that are ready to provide heat, electricity, communications, water, and hot tea.

“From now on, during the curfew period, you will be able to go to the Invincibility Point or home on foot or by private transport, including a taxi,” said Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv MVA.

The KMVA emphasized that security remains a priority. City patrols are being stepped up, and all decisions are being implemented under the control of security forces.

“Therefore, it is necessary to have an identity document with you, and for those subject to military service, a military registration document,” said Timur Tkachenko.

It is also reported that constant checks are underway on the “Integrity Points”, which should be real places of support for city residents.

By the way, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has named the conditions for moving through the streets during the curfew . In particular, it will be allowed to move through the streets solely for the purpose of going to the Invincibility Points or heating points – on foot or by transport.

Earlier, Zelensky held a meeting on emergency circumstances in the energy sector , following which he made several important statements, including the cancellation of the curfew.

As you know, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed regions to introduce flexible curfew rules while the energy emergency continues.
