Czech President Petr Pavel arrives in Ukraine for a visit

On Thursday, January 15, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, arrived in the Lviv region on a working visit.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi.
“We had an important conversation. Mr. President asked about the consequences of the attack that Lviv experienced today, and emphasized that the Czech Republic remains our strategic partner and ally,” Kozytsky wrote.
He recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Czech Republic has provided Ukraine with almost $837 million in military aid. In particular, it has purchased more than 3.7 million large-caliber artillery ammunition, of which 1.3 million in 2025 alone.
Kozytsky also said that the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko also participated in the meeting.
Recall that on January 15, the head of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva , arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit.
