Damage to railway in Kyiv region caused by detonation of ammunition in train – General Staff

In the Kyiv region, on the night of September 14, there was a detonation of ammunition on a train carrying military cargo.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this to ” Public “.

It is reported that there were no casualties among the personnel. The movement on the railway tracks was stopped, three carriages of the train were uncoupled.

The consequences of the detonation are still being eliminated at the scene. The General Staff added that an investigation and an official review will establish the cause.

Let us recall that the head of the Kyiv OVA, Nikolai Kalashnik, reported that an emergency occurred in the Fastiv district of the Kyiv region , as a result of which the railway infrastructure was damaged.
