On Sunday, July 26, Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur (WTA No. 54) will play in the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Prague against Austrian tennis player Lilly Tagger (WTA No. 74).
The match will start no earlier than 15:00 Kyiv time.
This is Daria’s first final in her professional career at the WTA 250 level. The 18-year-old Tugger is playing her second final on Tour and is the youngest finalist in the history of the Prague tournament.
These tennis players have never faced each other before. The Ukrainian, who is enjoying the most successful season of her career, is considered the favorite in this match.
However, the day before, the Austrian caused the biggest sensation of the tournament, defeating former Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova in a grueling three-hour match.
Therefore, a tense final match is expected, the winner of which can only be determined in three sets.
