Data was collected: reconnaissance drones, probably Hungarian, were operating over Ukraine
Ukrainian military has detected reconnaissance drones in the airspace of our country. The drones probably belong to the neighboring state – Hungary. These drones were previously collecting information about the industrial potential in the border area.
Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky reported on his Telegram about the possible Hungarian drones in Ukrainian airspace.
The incident was discussed at a meeting attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov, Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal, and Deputy Head of the Defense Ministry Pavlo Palis.
“The Ukrainian military recorded the entry of reconnaissance drones into our airspace, and these are probably Hungarian drones. Previously, they could have been conducting reconnaissance regarding the industrial potential in Ukrainian border areas,” Zelenskyy said.
The President instructed to check all available data and provide urgent reports on each fact. In addition, the meeting also discussed the situation on the front – in particular, in the hottest areas of combat.
It should be noted that in the northern part of Denmark, Aalborg Airport temporarily suspended operations due to the detection of unknown drones in the sky.
A few days earlier, on the night of September 23, a similar situation occurred in Norway – Gardermoen International Airport in the capital Oslo was forced to temporarily suspend operations after drones appeared over the airport.
