Deadly weather: a tree crushed a car with a driver during a storm in Zaporizhia

A 39-year-old man died in Zaporizhia as a result of bad weather when a tree fell on his car during strong winds. Rescuers unblocked the body of the deceased and eliminated the consequences of the incident.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
The storm lasted about 20 minutes, but had serious consequences. Due to strong gusts of wind, a tree fell on a car in which the driver was sitting.
As a result of the fall, the man was trapped in the structures of the damaged vehicle. Rescuers worked to unblock the body of the deceased using special equipment, after which they sawed the tree and removed it from the roadway.
8 rescuers and 2 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the incident.
It was reported the day before that 2 people died in Ukraine as a result of the storm, 2 more were injured , and rescuers are eliminating the consequences in 13 regions. The disaster caused massive power outages and significant damage to infrastructure.
