Death toll in Kharkiv rises due to Russian missile strike on January 2

In Kharkiv, the death toll from the Russian strike on January 2 has risen to five.

This was announced by the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.

“Another body fragment was found at the site of Friday’s explosions. Thus, the death toll from Friday’s explosions has increased to five,” the report said.

As noted by the Kharkiv regional police, the rubble is being cleared at the site of the Russian attack. Currently, 32 people are known to have been injured. Search operations are ongoing.
