Debris from a downed “shaheed” damaged a train at the Sumy station

During the Russian attack on Sumy, debris from a downed drone damaged passenger train No. 143 Sumy – Rakhiv. The incident caused the train to continue its journey with a significant delay.

According to the company, a Russian drone attacked the territory of the railway station in Sumy. Air defense forces shot down the drone over the station building, but its debris fell on a passenger train.

As a result, the roof of the last car caught fire.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that none of the passengers or train crew members were injured. They were in shelter at the time of the attack.

After the incident was resolved, the train continued on its route, but the delay was about five hours.

The company said they are working to minimize the delay in the schedule.
