Defenders of Ukraine Day 2026: greeting cards

On October 1, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders of Ukraine – a national holiday in honor of those who defend the independence and territorial integrity of the country. On the occasion of the holiday, “Pryamiy” has prepared postcards with which you can congratulate military personnel, veterans, relatives and friends.
Defenders of Ukraine Day is celebrated every year on October 1. The holiday was established in 2014 and received its current name in 2021.
It was originally celebrated on October 14, but in 2023 the date was moved to October 1 due to a change in the church calendar and the postponement of the feast of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
On this day, Ukrainians honor military personnel, veterans, volunteers, and all those who have defended and continue to defend Ukraine.
On the occasion of Defenders’ Day, the editorial staff of “Pryamoy” prepared postcards with words of gratitude and support.
