On Friday, August 22, an incident occurred in Vinnytsia between law enforcement officers and hundreds of people protecting a man wanted by the CCC.
This was reported by the Vinnytsia Oblast Police , Vinnytsia Oblast CCC and SP , and the publication “ 20 Minutes ”.
As explained in the police press service, during patrol, law enforcement officers discovered a 25-year-old man who has been wanted by the CCC since April.
It is noted that during the document check, he tried to escape, but the police restricted his movement.
“Meanwhile, passersby tried to obstruct the consideration of the administrative proceedings. An inspection is currently underway,” the press service said in a statement.
According to a local publication, eight police crews arrived at the scene, and hundreds of people gathered around.
Witnesses filmed women hitting a police car, around which they had gathered, while the detained man was surrounded by people protecting him.
The incident resulted in a traffic jam, and law enforcement officers released the detainee.
At the same time, the CCC emphasized that representatives of the territorial procurement center did not carry out any activities related to mobilization or notification of the population in the specified location.
