Defense forces are conducting active operations: in which directions are Ukrainians counterattacking the Russians?

Units of the Defense Forces are conducting active operations on the front in the southern regions to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into the country.

This was stated by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, during the telethon.

In particular, in the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian military forces are preventing the enemy from moving towards the settlement of Pokrovske, Dnipropetrovsk region.

“We are conducting successful counterattacks and assault operations there. The enemy is currently in a difficult situation there, but he is not stopping his activity,” the spokesman noted.

Among other things, Voloshyn denied Russian information about the capture of Krynychny near Hulyaipol. The village is under Ukrainian control.

According to him, over the past day, the Defense Forces fighters conducted more than 20 search and strike, counter-sabotage operations, destroying infiltration groups of the Russian army.

“And we also carried out counterattacks, refuting those Russian claims that they had captured some territories somewhere,” he noted.

Separately, Ukrainian fighters are reducing the size of the “gray zone” and preventing the occupiers from forming consolidation groups and attacking positions.

“In some cases, we act in advance. And in some areas of the enemy’s front line, it seems to us that we have organized some kind of counteroffensive. But these are our actions, which are agreed and coordinated in order to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into our territory,” Voloshyn added.

Let us recall that, taking advantage of favorable conditions, after blocking Starlink terminals and the Telegram messenger for Russians, the Ukrainian military began to conduct counterattacks on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.

As is known, Ukrainian fighters are in active defense in the Oleksandrivka and Hulyaipil directions, while at the same time they are conducting counterattacks and carrying out counter-sabotage measures.

By the way, the Defense Forces managed to push back the Russians near the settlements of Ternove, Vyshneve, and Verbove in the Oleksandrivka direction.
