Defense forces at the front repelled 205 enemy attacks: where the hottest battles took place

Over the past 24 hours, 205 combat clashes have been recorded on the front, and Russian troops have significantly increased fire pressure, using aviation, guided bombs, kamikaze drones, and artillery against positions of the Defense Forces and settlements of Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on December 23.
According to updated information, yesterday the invaders carried out 14 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 41 guided bombs.
In addition, we engaged 4,563 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 3,857 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 98 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes with guided bombs on settlements, in particular Vozdvizhivka, Stepnohirsk, Lysohirka, Malokaterynivka, Lyubitske, Barvinivka, Zaliznychne in Zaporizhia region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck three concentration areas and seven other important enemy targets.
Eight clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day. In addition, the enemy carried out 136 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times near the settlements of Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Vovchansk, Dvorichanske and towards Vilcha and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupyansk direction, 11 attacks by the invaders took place during the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Pishchany, Zagryzovy and towards Kurylivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 10 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Seredne, Novoselivka, Myrne and towards the settlements of Nadiya, Cherneshchyna, Drobysheve, and Stavky.
In the Slavyansk direction, in the areas of Serebryanka, Dronivka, and Siversk, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops six times.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one clash was recorded near the settlement of Stupochky.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 31 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Shcherbynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kleban-Byk, Sofiivka and towards Berestok.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 58 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Myrnograd, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Pershe Travnya, Filiya and in the direction of Sukhetske, Hryshyn, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked our positions 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Vorone, Oleksandrovgrad, Rybne, Zlagoda, Pryvilne and in the direction of Iskra, Vyshneve, and Oleksiivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 13 times in the area of Solodky, Varvarivka, Hulyaipil, and towards Zeleny.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried 10 times to break through our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaki, Stepove, Plavnia and towards Lukyanivske and Prymorske.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Dnieper direction in the past day.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
