Defense forces attacked the Ust-Luga Oil oil terminal in the Leningrad region

On the night of April 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the Leningrad Region, hitting the Ust-Luga Oil oil terminal in Slobodka.

According to preliminary information, three tanks belonging to the Transneft-Baltika enterprise were hit. The extent of the damage is being determined.
“Ust-Luga Oil” is an important facility for the occupiers. The Russian Federation uses it to export petroleum products, and directs the proceeds to finance the war against Ukraine.
Separately, the General Staff clarified the results of the strikes on April 5, 2026. In particular, damage was found to Russian oil transportation and oil refining infrastructure facilities.
As a result of the attack on Transneft-Port Primorsk, three RVSP-20000 tanks were damaged, and petroleum products also caught fire.
“RVSP-20000 is a tank with a volume of 20,000 m³. This is a typical design used for long-term storage of oil, petroleum products, and other flammable liquids,” the headquarters explained.
Among other things, it was revealed that during the strike on Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, elements of the AVT-6 and AVT-1 primary crude oil processing plants and unit 19/6, involved in the production of petroleum bitumen, were damaged.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to strike important enemy targets both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in the territory of the Russian Federation, until the armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped,” the General Staff assured.
Earlier, the General Staff confirmed the destruction of a Russian frigate, an oil terminal , and a number of other enemy military facilities.
As a reminder, the day before , the Defense Forces managed to hit the oil loading infrastructure of the Sheskharis oil terminal , located in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory.
