Defense forces destroyed 880 occupiers, 40 artillery systems and 4 tanks

As of the morning of August 28, Russia had lost about 1,079,630 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 880 people.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian army from February 24, 2022 to August 28, 2025 are approximately:
