Defense forces destroyed over 1,000 more occupiers, 34 artillery systems, and an enemy aircraft

As of the morning of December 5, 2025, the losses of Russian troops in personnel exceeded 1,178,000 people – during the day the Defense Forces destroyed another 1,240 occupiers.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Among other things, during the full-scale invasion, the enemy lost:

• tanks – 11,396 units.
• armored combat vehicles — 23,686 (+1) units.
• artillery systems — 34,843 (+34) units.
• MLRS — 1,558 (+2) units.
• air defense means — 1,253 units.
• aircraft — 431 (+1) units.
• helicopters – 347 units.
• Operational-tactical level UAVs — 86,900 (+424) units.
• cruise missiles — 4,024 units.
• ships / boats – 28 units.
• submarines – 1 unit.
• automotive equipment and tank trucks — 68,907 (+94) units.
• special equipment — 4,014 (+2) units.
