Defense forces have cleared Minkovka in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian troops have cleared the village of Minkovka in the Donetsk region of Russian occupiers. The village is currently under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces .

This was reported to the 425th separate assault regiment “Skala” .

According to the military, the operation made it possible to disrupt the potential advance of Russian forces and stabilize the situation in this direction.

The regiment noted that Minkovka is a key settlement on the Bakhmut- Slovyansk highway. Its control prevents the enemy from advancing further toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

During the fighting, the assault units carried out a coordinated operation, unblocked the positions of an adjacent unit, deployed new observation posts, and inflicted damage on the enemy.

According to the military, more than 40 Russian servicemen were killed.
