Over the past 24 hours, defense forces have regained control of 1.3 square kilometers and conducted a search and elimination of occupiers in an area of 2.1 square kilometers in the Pokrovsky District.

Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky reported this.

“Over the past 24 hours, control over 1.3 square kilometers was restored, and a search and destruction of the enemy was conducted on 2.1 square kilometers of territory in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region,” Syrsky said.

According to him, assault units in certain directions advanced from 200 m to 2.5 km.

“During the fighting, 43 infidels were killed, with the enemy suffering 65 casualties. Eleven pieces of military equipment were also destroyed (4 artillery systems, 6 UAVs, 1 motorcycle),” he added.

Syrsky also reported that, as of 12:00 AM on September 22, a total of 164.5 square kilometers had been liberated during the operation, with 180.8 square kilometers cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Control over seven settlements had also been restored, and nine had been cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

“The total losses of the Russian occupiers in the Dobropillia area amount to 2,696 people, of which 1,492 are irretrievable. The “exchange fund” for the return of Ukrainian defenders from Russian captivity continues to be replenished,” Syrsky emphasized.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian Army drone distribution center and ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied territories.
