Defense forces hit a Russian UAV compound in Luhansk region

On the night of January 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a compound of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A UAV unit from the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Federation was hit near the settlement of Novokrasnyanka. A hit on target was recorded.
In addition, the General Staff clarified the results of the recent strike on the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. The destruction of the enterprise’s bulk terminal was confirmed.
The results of the attack by drones on the Oskolneftesnab oil depot in the village of Kotel, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, have also been confirmed. As a result of the strike, one RVS-1000 tank was destroyed and six were damaged.
The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at weakening the offensive capabilities and reducing the military-economic potential of Russia in order to force it to cease armed aggression against Ukraine.
It was previously reported that in 2025, the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine inflicted losses on key elements of Russia’s echeloned air defense system, destroying and disabling air defense assets.
As a reminder, in Taganrog, Russia, on the morning of January 13, drones attacked an industrial facility, after which a fire broke out in the city.
