Defense forces hit Russian helicopter in Crimea

Ukrainian units, reducing the combat potential of the Russian army, shot down an enemy helicopter in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the General Staff.
On the night of February 17, a strike was carried out on the occupiers’ Ka-27 naval multi-purpose helicopter in the Qamishli area.
According to the General Staff, a hit on target was recorded there.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed three enemy UAV control points: two in the Zaporizhzhia TOT near Gulyaipol and Zatyshsha, and another one near the settlement of Anatolivky in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Currently, information about enemy losses and the final extent of damage is being clarified.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to systematically strike at facilities that provide command and control of troops, aviation, and unmanned units of the Russian aggressor,” the General Staff warned.
Earlier, the General Staff confirmed the Defense Forces’ strikes on an oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, as well as on logistics facilities and a communications hub of the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories.
As a reminder, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Iskander storage site , the Rubicon piloting point, and enemy facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
